About Us

Who We Are

Our garden has provided for our family for many years. But we decided to share our harvest and expanded our operations from a simple garden to a 1/4 acre operation that includes our community. As a local grower, we provide the same garden-to-table produce to you and your family that our garden has given to us for so long.

We use an organic, no-till approach and a variety of growing options that promote the long term health of the soil. Healthy soil is living soil, and living soil creates more nutrient-rich produce. Supporting the soil, supports the plants, that support us.

As an extension of our support for our soil and plants, we also keep our very own bees to provide natural pollination for our garden and the local area. Pollinators like bees help keep the plants fruitful, fertile and healthy.

In addition to providing eggs and meat, chickens also provide organic fertilizer. That’s why we have also ventured into the chicken industry. Our family joke is that we turned our children into “chicken tenders.”

We know that offering the highest quality products is a never-ending process, so we’re always learning more. We’re currently involved with best-selling author, Jean-Martin Fortier’s Master Gardeners course from themarketgardener.com.

Know Your Farmer

Sometimes our crops thrive beyond our expectations, or mature very quickly and we have to harvest them immediately. This can result in an overstock of produce that might go to waste, so we often add a few extras free of charge to your boxes. It’s just another way that we say thanks and help share the harvest.

We have a small staff, and it’s mostly our family. We love to have a positive relationship with you and your food. Helping you to know your farmer helps promote the farm-to-table dynamic, supports local growers and gives you peace of mind about where your food is coming from.
